Peavy to Cubs Close???

The Baltimore O's have made it public that they are the potential 3rd team in the recently dead Peavy-to-Cubs deal. Based on what was reported the Cubs would trade Felix "Cream" Pie to the O's for a young pitcher Garret Olson who the Padre's have wanted. Then a second deal would be made involving Olson for Peavy. That would put down Marquis to the pen as long relief  duties. The Cubs would easily have the best rotation in the league with Zambrano, Dempster, Lilly, Harden, and Peavy. 

Then the Cubs would look for a low salary solution for their left handed bat problem. My opinion is to go for a Free Agent...i like Fontenot way too much to deal for Mark Teahan. Maybe a Bobby Abreu is in the North Side's future?

DEVIN HARRIS HAS HUGE GAME

Devin Harris erupted tonight for 47 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists as he led the Nets past the Suns, 117-109. His 47 points inlcuded 21 in the 4th quarter. His previous high was 38. On his way to 47 points he was 17-17 from the charity strike, 2-3 from the 3 point line and 14-25 with FG.

Bulls come back to beat Sixers, 103-92 behind rookie Derrick Rose

It was there final stop on the 7 game road trip, Derrick Rose had 18 points, 10 assist and 5 rebounds for the Bulls while Elton Brand had 21 points and 12 rebounds, comparing two chicago bull first round draft picks (bulls had drafted Brand in 1999 out of Duke). This was a huge victory for the squad as they look to have a nice year under Vinny del Negro
