The Cubs had until 11 tonight to decide whether to offer Kerry Wood, the only of the two players the Cubs would have, to offer arbitration. After Kerry Wood made it public he would like to be in Chicago on a 1 year deal, the Cubs decline the offer to him making him way more attractive to other clubs. I question our move. Wood closed out all but two games last year...i love Marmol, but i'm nervous for him. Either way, Kevin Gregg is the man (minus the home run he gave up to Darryl Ward.) Go Cubs Go.
