Romo and Witten Silence Soap Opera Talk....For Now

Sunday, December 14, 2008

Throughout the entire week Tony Romo and Jason Witten have been criticized by Terrell Owens as he is complaining about, what a suprise, that he is not getting the ball enough. Owens thinks the two who happen to be good friends off the field are "scheming" against him. Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Jon Runyan told ESPN, "It's already happened here. We know exactly what they're going through. The problem is that divides the team. People are drawing lines and taking sides." The situation going on here seems to be like a one man circus that happens to travel to wherever T.O. plays. The Cowboys beat the Giants tonight 20-8 and Romo threw for 244 yards with 2 touchdowns and 0 Interceptions while Witten 5 catches for 44 yards and T.O. had a sub par 3 catches for 38 yards. It will be interesting to see how T.O. reacts in practice this week.
